Get Involved

You can get involved in our project by participating in the community steering committee, community meetings, and our water sampling efforts.

Community Steering Committee

Our community steering committee (CSC) is composed of community leaders and concerned residents from Imperial Valley. They work with the study partners to make decisions about the research and provide advice about how to best address community needs. The CSC acts as a liaison between the study partners and the community at large, taking on the leadership role in community meetings.

If you would like to be a CSC member, email us at info@ccvhealth.org.

Community Meetings

Community meetings are open to anyone in Imperial County, whether you use canal water in your home or are just passionate about access to clean water. Community meetings are spaces where you can discuss the canal water issue with other community members, share your knowledge with the study partners, and learn about the project as it progresses. Sign up for our mailing list to stay up to date on community meetings.

Water Sampling

We plan to collect samples of canal water in the summer of 2018 and we will need your help! If you are interested in collecting water samples with us, please email us at info@ccvhealth.org.
